Audio and Visual Electronics (AVE) is a private company established by engineers and technician dedicated for broadcasting and communication engineering. Presently the organization is more dedicated for sales, installation and maintenance of radio and television broadcasting equipments. AVE has presently been providing its regular services to around one hundred different radio and television broadcasting stations including few production houses.

Audio and Visual Electronics was founded in the year 2000 with the purpose of sales, service and maintenance of broadcasting equipment, audio and visual equipment and other communication devices. AVE together with its partner organization has always invested considerable resources in research and development.

AVE is involved in the field of broadcasting since last eight years. AVE is an exclusive distributor of CTE Digital Broadcast (SRL) for the state of Nepal. CTE Digital Broadcast was founded in 1972 with the purpose for manufacturing and distributing telecommunications equipment. The first range of products manufactured by CTE Digital Broadcast include transceivers and accessories ( HF-VHF-UHF Radio Equipment) for professional PMR-LMR and Ham CB, branded Midland and Alan.

In 1975 CTE Broadcast began the production of transmitting equipment, radio links and antennas for FM/TV Broadcasting. CTE Digital Broadcast, together with its partners Meta system and Nuova Elit has always invested considerable resources in research and development. In its effort to maintain a leading position in Broadcasting, CTE Digital Broadcast develops and manufactures different transmitters, with the new DAB and DVB technology, the new system which offers a more economical use of frequencies, digital sound and video quality and a wide choice of programs.

CTE Digital Broadcast manufactures portable mobile radio under the brand name of ‘Alan Professional’. It is the new brand of CTE Digital Broadcast committed to facing the challenge of technological evolution in radio communication and surveillance systems for the intelligence with dedicated, highly qualified structure, focusing the value of design and development of innovative personalized solutions.

CTE’s broadcasting products are more popular in Nepal. CTE Digital broadcasting products occupy more than 80% of share in Nepal. However their other products are still not being introduced in Nepalese market. Among their various products, portable mobile radio (PMR) is still not being introduced in Nepal through there is significant demand of those products in Nepal
